Park Planning and Development is responsible for park development planning, facility design, land acquisition, capital projects, construction management, grant preparation, and long-range strategic policy planning for Kirkland's parks. The City's Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan serves as a six-year guide and strategic plan for managing and enhancing park and recreation services.
We are currently working on a variety of projects to improve Kirkland's green space. A summation of monthly progress on each of our current projects can be reviewed in our Monthly Reports.
