Houghton Beach Park Swimming Area Closed
The Houghton Beach Park swimming area is closed for at least one week due to elevated bacteria levels. People and pets should not swim, drink lake water, or engage in other water activities at Houghton Beach Park. The rest of the park is open. For more information visit King County's Lake Swimming Beach Program website.

CKC Trail Closed
The Cross Kirkland Corridor trail is closed from NE 85th Street to NE 87th Street. The short detour at NE 85th Street to Kirkland Way will be closed 8/8 and 8/9 for sidewalk repairs. Trail users use the 7th Avenue/6th Street detour route. The detour map is on the project webpage (link below) and posted on-site.
