PROBATION

Kirkland Probation Services is a division of the Kirkland Municipal Court and is responsible for supervision of individuals upon conviction, monitoring and tracking of court ordered conditions and facilitating educational opportunities.

Probation provides case management services to assist clients in identifying and overcoming barriers, connecting them with resources and overseeing compliance with the conditions. Clients placed on supervised probation will meet with their probation officer working toward a reduction in recidivism through changed behaviors.

This department does not provide courtesy supervision for other jurisdictions and does not transfer cases to other departments (unless the case falls under Interstate Compact).
