The Wastewater Division of Public Works primarily handles these issues: City sewer main maintenance, sewer maintenance holes, maintenance and operation of eight sewage pump stations, and response to service requests.
Storm & Surface Water
The Storm & Surface Water Division of Kirkland Public Works addresses both water quality (pollutants) and water quantity (flood control) problems.
The City of Kirkland provides drinking water purchased from Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) through Cascade Water Alliance, an association of regional water districts and cities.
