Neighborhood Plans

There are 14 neighborhoods within Kirkland. Each neighborhood has it's own Neighborhood Plan chapter within the City's Comprehensive Plan.

In 2023-2024 the City worked with the Juanita Neighborhood and Kingsgate Neighborhood on in-depth updates to their Plans. Click the links below to view the final plans, as adopted by City Council on December 10, 2024.

For the other neighborhood and subarea plans, there have been minor text edits for consistency, streamlining, and equity. The Moss Bay Neighborhood Plan, NE 85th Street Station Subarea Plan, and Totem Lake Business District Plan contain edits to comply with Puget Sound Regional Council requirements for documents that serve as plans for the PSRC-designated regional growth centers (Greater Downtown and Totem Lake).
