Community Conversations

We want to hear from you! We highly value community involvement in our decision making. Community conversations are opportunities for Kirkland community members to get involved in decisions that affect them.  Each community conversation is focused around a specific topic, and City staff work to provide various opportunities and methods for community members to provide their perspective about the particular decision.

NE 85th Street Station Area Plan

A new plan for development, open space, and mobility connections near the planned Bus Rapid Transit station at NE 85th St & I-405.

Surface Water Master Plan Update

Kirkland's Storm & Surface Water Division is updating the Surface Water Master Plan.

Kirkland 2044 Comprehensive Plan Update

In 2022-2024 the City of Kirkland will conduct a major update of the Comprehensive Plan to guide growth of the city for the next 20 years (2044). Learn how you can participate in the process.

Transportation Benefit District

The Kirkland City Council is seeking to accelerate 45 projects that will improve safety for walking and bicycling throughout Kirkland by implementing a $20 car tab fee.
