The purpose of the banner program is to allow for the display of public service messages or event announcements promoting community events taking place within Kirkland limits.
There are three types of banner permits available.
To apply for a Street Banner Permit, follow these steps:
Complete the Street Banner Permit Application
Once the application is received it will be reviewed and you will be contacted regarding the status of your request. If approved, payment must be made within 2 business days. The permit and application fees can be mailed or hand-delivered to:

To apply for a Vertical Banner Permit, follow these steps:
Applications for new banners, not previously installed, must include a copy of the banner artwork.
Applications are accepted up to six months, but no less than thirty days, prior to installation.
Complete the Vertical Banner Permit Application
To apply for a Park Banner Permit, follow these steps:
Applications are accepted up to six months, but no less than seven days, prior to installation.
