Apply for a Banner Permit

The purpose of the banner program is to allow for the display of public service messages or event announcements promoting community events taking place within Kirkland limits. 

There are three types of banner permits available.

Street Banner

Street Banner  

To apply for a Street Banner Permit, follow these steps:

Step 1.Understand the requirements and rules

Step 2.Gather supporting documents

  • Draft banner artwork.  

Step 3.Complete the application & pay the fees

  • Applications are accepted up to six months, but no less than thirty days, prior to installation.

Complete the Street Banner Permit Application

The non-refundable permit fee and installation fees can be mailed or hand-delivered to:

Step 4.We will contact you

Once the application and fees are received, your request will be reviewed. Staff will contact you regarding the status of your request within 5 business days. 

Vertical Banner

To apply for a Vertical Banner Permit, follow these steps:

Step 2.Gather supporting documents

  • Draft banner artwork.

Step 3.Complete the application & pay the fees

  • Applications are accepted up to six months, but no less than thirty days, prior to installation.

Park Banner

To apply for a Park Banner Permit, follow these steps:

Step 1.Understand the requirements and rules

Step 2.Gather supporting documents

  • Draft banner artwork.

Step 3.Complete the application & pay the fee

  • Applications are accepted up to six months, but no later than two weeks, prior to the requested installation date. 

Complete the Park Banner Permit Application

The non-refundable permit fee can be mailed or hand-delivered to:
