The City of Kirkland offers facilities at many of the parks to host private gatherings. A list of the available locations is below:

Do I need a Permit? What type of Permit does my event need?

A permit may be needed for your event depending on your event needs. Please see below for additional information on when a permit is needed:

If your event is a Special Event, Community Event, Film/Photography, or Block Party, information for these permits can be found at the Special Events page.
If you're hosting a private gathering that includes a specific guest list, will not involve any advertising to the general public, and where business will not be conducted, you may be able to apply for a Facility Use Permit through our online reservation system at www.kirklandparks.net.
If your event falls outside of the information below, please contact staff at eParks@kirklandwa.gov or 425-587-3330 for additional assistance.

How do I apply for a Facility Use Permit or check availability of a facility?

Read the guidelines and application requirements for the type of event you're planning:
For a Facility Use Permit, make sure your event date meets the the minimum timeframe required to make a reservation.
- Picnic Area/Shelter reservations need at least 7 days' advance notice
- Peter Kirk Pool reservations need at least 14 days' advance notice
- Marina Park Al Locke Pavilion reservations need at least 30 days' advance notice
To apply for a Facility Use Permit, visit www.KirklandParks.net to check availability and reserve online! The website is not mobile optimized and may be best viewed on a computer.

In observance of specified City holidays, staff are not issuing permits for rentals, events, or activities on the following holidays. Park facilities may be used on a first come, first served basis.
