Television Regulations

The Kirkland Channels are Government Access Cable Channels granted to the City of Kirkland. The channels exist to inform and involve residents in government, civic and community affairs. It is the goal of the Kirkland channels to provide a multimedia program service for the City of Kirkland, its residents, officials, and employees.

Upgrade to a heat pump with Energy Smart Eastside
The City of Kirkland has partnered with four other Eastside cities to help our residents learn about and access energy-efficient heat pump technology. Workshops are being offered in summer and fall 2022.

In response to guidance from Public Health Seattle-King County, we encourage members of the community to implement social distancing as much as possible and in the interim use the following methods to interact at City Council meetings. Virtual meetings are broadcast live on KGOV channel 21 and live-streamed on the City's website (links posted on the individual meetings under related information).

The Kirkland Fire Department urges any resident experiencing a life threatening emergency to call 911. Requesting help from your firefighters does not increase the likelihood of contracting COVID-19. Your firefighters diligently use the appropriate personnel protective equipment, sanitize fire engines, aid cars and fire stations and practice good hygiene to protect the public and themselves.
