For more than a decade we’ve been proud to provide quality recreation programs for preschoolers, youth, teens and adults. With a wealth of class offerings in music, art, dance, drama, cooking, science, languages, yoga, fitness and more, we
invite you to explore and enjoy the center year round!
For summer-time fun and adventure, check out our new Junior Day Camps for kids ages 5-8 or our famous Peter Kirk Camps for kids ages 7-11.
Drop-In “Indoor Playground” ages 9 months-5 yrs
Don't sit in the house - come out to play in our large multipurpose room where there's lots of room to run! There are "Little Tikes" and "Step2-type" pedal and push buggies, cars, roller coaster and coupes, pirate ship climber, climber with slide, toddler teeter totter, kitchen set, small riding toys, wagon, rockers, trike, octopus merry-go-round, and small toy cars and trucks. For babies we include busy boxes, miscellaneous pull toys, and baby toys. Adults must supervise children at all times. Sorry, no snacks or drinks allowed.
Quarterly schedules; not open during the summer. Spring: Tues & Thur 10am-1pm
• $3 per visit, per child cash at the door
• $25 punch cards available for 10 visits

The Peter Kirk Community Center is committed to providing health, wellness and recreation opportunities for Youth, Teens and Adults including Adults 50 and over.
Activities and Services Offered for Adults 50+
To achieve the goal of promoting wellness of body, mind and spirit the Center offers a wide variety of activities and services.
* Fitness classes- Pilates, Qigong, Aerobics, Yoga
* Art and life long learning classes
* Fun special events
* Intergenerational programs
* Van trips and charter tours
The Center also provides a wide range of health, legal and financial services, a nutritional lunch four days a week and Meals on Wheels are delivered to the homebound.
This drop-in facility offers the opportunity for fun, friendship and socialization in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The support and tremendous amount of volunteer hours make it possible for the community center to offer such a wide variety of activities and services.
Youth, Teen, and Adult Activities
A variety of youth, teen and adult recreation activities are offered at the Peter Kirk Community Center.
