Please keep in mind that as the rain falls and the snow melts, we are at risk for urban flooding. We need our community’s help in clearing storm drains of snow, ice and other debris to help prevent localized flooding in our neighborhoods.
Clear your neighborhood storm drains only if it is safe. If you can safely do so, stand on the sidewalk or parking strip (out of the road) and use a snow shovel or other tool to clear the snow and ice away. If possible, try to clear a path for the water runoff.
