If you love being outside, making connections with people, learning new skills, and making a difference in your community, then Kirkland’s Parks and Community Service jobs may be a great fit for you!

We’ll be hosting a job fair on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Kirkland Community Center, located at 12421 103rd Ave NE in Kirkland.  The City is recruiting for summer positions, including day camp leaders, youth sports staff, lifeguards, parks laborers, high school interns, and more. There are also year-round part-time positions available to support community center operations and recreation programs.

“Our recreation programs and park spaces are a special part of what makes Kirkland such a vibrant and active community,” said Councilmember Jon Pascal. “Keeping our parks beautiful and our programs exciting takes a very dedicated and passionate staff team.  Are you our next team member?”

At the job fair, attendees can meet with current staff and hiring managers and apply for open positions right at the job fair. Attendees will also learn about seasonal and year-round positions, and the benefits of working for the City. Most positions will be conducting on-site interviews, and, while not required, bringing a resume is helpful.

See open positions and apply today at www.kirklandwa.gov/parksjobs.
