Project Overview: The goal of the Annual Striping Program is to maintain markings that identify travel lanes and other guidance markings for auto, pedestrian, bicycle, transit and other forms of transportation. The program will result in restriping for more than 30 miles of collector and arterial streets throughout the City. The project is typically divided in two phases:
Timeline: Striping typically beings in July each year and is anticipated to be complete in September.
July 23, 2026 -- The annual re-striping of roadway markings is expected to begin at night on Sunday, July 26. King County Road Services will be conducting this years program. All work expected to be conducted at night for roadway markings and thermoplastic work.
