Thank you for considering Kirkland Parks for your next event! Kirkland’s parks and facilities are great locations to hold events such as family picnics, birthday parties and weddings. Not all of Kirkland Parks are available as event rental sites, but many are.

Do I need a permit for my event? What type of permit does my event need?

A permit may be needed for your event depending on your the function. If your event is a Special Event, Community Event, Film/Photography Permit, or Block Party, information can be found at the Special Events page.

How do I apply for a permit or check the availability of a facility?

  1. Figure out what kind of permit is needed for your event. See the “Do I Need a Permit and What Kind of Permit Do I Need” section above.
  2. Read the guidelines and application requirements for the type of event your planning:
  3. Check for the minimum timeframe required for a reservation/permit within the rental policies. For example, 30 calendar days is required for NKCC and PKCC rentals.
