City Investments in Human Services

The City makes investments to address basic community needs throughout most City functions. Examples include a domestic violence advocate in the police department, senior services at Peter Kirk Community Center, affordable housing production and utility assistance for low income seniors. Click on “City Funded Initiatives” to see a more complete list. The City also supports the work of dozens of non profit organizations that provide services to Kirkland residents.
