Suspect Apprehended in Kirkland Home Invasion

Kirkland, WA – On March 17 just after 10:00 pm the Kirkland Police Department responded to a report of an injured female in the roadway in the 11300 block of 100th AVE NE. 

Arriving Officers quickly determined that the female had been stabbed multiple times inside her home.  The victim was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition.  

Kirkland Police Detectives worked through the evening gathering evidence in an attempt to identify the suspect involved.  Washington State Patrol Crime Scene Investigators were requested to assist with the investigation and process the crime scene.  

On March 18 a suspect was identified and subsequently arrested by Kirkland Detectives later in the day.  Kirkland Detectives had established that the male suspect was known to the victim through a business relationship.  

The suspect was booked into the King County Jail.  Charges for Attempted Murder 1st Degree, Kidnapping 1st Degree, and Robbery 1st Degree will be forwarded to the King County Prosecutor’s Office.
