KIRKLAND, Wash. – Are you – or do you know – a youth who’s passionate about art? Want to make an impact and serve your community? The City is accepting applications for a youth seat on the Kirkland Cultural Arts Commission (KCAC) until May 2, 2025.
The KCAC is a volunteer board appointed by the City Council that advises the Council on art acquisition, promotes strategic arts planning, and manages the City's public art collection. They also work to grow and support arts, culture, and heritage in Kirkland. The Commission meets on the third Wednesday of every month.
Kirkland community members who meet eligibility requirements are invited to apply to the City Clerk by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025. Visit the Current Recruitment Positions page or call the City Clerk’s Office at 425-587-3190 to learn more and apply.
Members of most advisory boards and commissions are appointed by the City Council. City Council interviews for potential members are anticipated to be scheduled for the week of May 26th, 2025.
