KIRKLAND, Wash. – Celebrate culture from around the world at our inaugural International Night Market on Wednesday, August 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Houghton Park and Play, 6920 NE 70th Place, Kirkland, 98033. This family-friendly event will be full of global cuisine, live music and dancing, and a variety of artisanal and community vendors.
“Events like the International Night Market are part of Kirkland’s commitment to celebrating its diverse community,” said Councilmember Neal Black. “We’re proud to support programs that create space for cultural expression and where everyone is respected, valued, and has a sense of belonging.”
In addition to the festivities, a variety of local organizations will host resource tables to share information about the services and programs available to the Kirkland community. Representatives will be available to answer questions and connect residents to various programs and support opportunities.
Please note that parking is limited. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, carpool, or use public transportation. A volunteer Bike Valet will be on site for bicycle parking. King County Metro will be running Route 245 with increased frequency, with a stop located directly in front of the event.
