Waste Management and the City of Kirkland's Recycle Right Events allow residents to dispose of recyclable items such as electronics, textiles, and paper for shredding.
For the first time our Recycle Right Event is partnering with the Furniture Repair Bank to collect gently worn and damaged furniture to be restored, repaired, and then gifted to community members in need. The list below includes the types of items we would like to collect at the event. TO DONATE FURNITURE YOU MUST COMPLETE AN ONLINE APPLICATION BY MONDAY NOV.13TH AND WILL BE NOTIFIED BY NOV. 15TH IF APPROVED. Complete the online application (picture of item required), a limited number of items will be accepted and we reserve the right to reject any item on the day.
Please contact us with any questions about the event at Recycle@kirklandwa.gov.
This is a free event, and there is no cost to drop off the accepted items. The event organizers and staff reserve the right to refuse to take items that are not listed on the accepted items list, damaged, contaminated, or too large to handle.
