Join us for a day of painting on Sept 21st from 10-4 at Totem Lake Park in Kirkland as we bring artwork to life that raises awareness around environmental stewardship. We will be working together to complete a piece of artwork for the park’s bathroom structure
The signup is open to helpers of all skill levels, though skilled hands are encouraged to sign up for the latter hours as we'll be doing some details. Make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting painty, and we look forward to getting creative with you!

Urban ArtWorks is pleased to be partnering with the City of Kirkland on a piece about waste reduction and recycling. We are working together with artist Burcu Koleli to create artwork for this shared community office.
Urban ArtWorks is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to engage youth, artists and communities in the creation of public artwork that inspires connections and honors their voice.
Burcu Koleli is a visual artist and freelance illustrator who has been based in Washington for a long time and just moved to the East Coast to pursue a masters degree in art. She is a passionate intersectional eco-feminist. She creates gouache paintings and digital illustrations. Her works are mainly inspired by activist movements and mindfulness practices. She creates inclusive artwork that celebrates women and nature. Her works aspire to bring joy with vibrant colors and playful style. She provides illustration, mural design, branding, graphic design, and content creation services.
