Electronic Home Detention (EHD)

Application Process

If you have a jail commitment and the Judge has checked the box for EHD you are required to obtain the corresponding application by either downloading (see below) or picking up in person at the jail (see Kirkland Jail Location).

Completely fill out and turn the application in to the Kirkland Jail at least seven (7) days before your date of commitment assigned by the court.

Failure to turn in a completed application to the jail within this time will be an automatic disqualification to either or both of the programs.

Please review the Alternative Sentencing Requirements(PDF, 104KB)

Completed applications can be turned in at the jail, to the jail fax at 425-587-3463, or by email attachment to CorrectionsSupervisors@kirklandwa.go

It is your responsibility to make sure the jail successfully received your paperwork.

The EHD program is available to male and female offenders. If the judge has checked the EHD box it DOES NOT mean that you are automatically qualified for the program. It simply means that the court is allowing alternatives to jail if it is approved by the Kirkland Jail.
