Summer Watering Volunteers

The Green Kirkland Partnership needs your help this summer with volunteer watering to nurture baby native plants in the natural forested areas of Kirkland’s parks.

Watering Volunteer spots are full and the interest form is closed for the Summer 2024 season!

Volunteers in this role commit to serving two hours, every two weeks from June through September on their own time and schedule.

Visit the Green Kirkland Summer Watering Role webpage for more details.

Join the Green Kirkland Steward team!

Did you know that a fun and dedicated team of 50+ super volunteers called Green Kirkland Stewards help engage our community in the restoration of over 500 acres of natural parkland in Kirkland?

Stewards bring a diversity of interests, skill, and time to our parks in this long-term, ongoing role. We encourage all that are interested to attend new Steward orientation. Orientation is free, open to the public, and is a blend of online and in-person sessions.

The next new Steward Orientation will be hosted in Fall 2024.

To learn more about the Steward role visit the Ongoing Volunteer Roles page under About Volunteering.

Sign-up for monthly Green Kirkland e-newsletter to stay informed on the timing of the next orientation.
