Parks & Community Services COVID-19 Guidelines
Our top priority is the safety of you, your family, and our staff. The City of Kirkland will continue to follow state and local guidelines for COVID-19 safety. Before your scheduled class, camp or athletic program, please review the following COVID-19 safety information and guidelines.
Stay home if you are not feeling well, have symptoms of COVID-19, are awaiting test results, have received a positive COVID-19 test within the past 5 days, or if you have been instructed to quarantine or isolate.
All participants and staff are asked to do a self-assessment of their health before coming to class. Participants and staff may be screened for participants upon arrival.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscles or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
Masks are not required in most City of Kirkland indoor recreation programs.
Masks are strongly recommended, especially if you are at increased risk, you live with someone who is at increased risk, and out of consideration for people who may be at higher risk in public settings.
Staff, instructors and participants may choose to wear masks. Please respect the choices of those around you.
There is no vaccination requirement for program participants.
The City of Kirkland complies with Washington State Proclamation 21-14.1 requiring workers in educational settings, including municipal parks and recreation programs, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
