Development within the City of Kirkland can involve three major departments: Planning and Building, Public Works, and Fire.  Specialized workgroups from each of these departments are collectively referred to as Development Services. Each group has their own role in assisting you with your development goals and needs.

**Development Services is closed to the public on Wednesday mornings while we attend our all-staff staff meeting. We open to customers starting at 10:30 a.m.
