Houghton Beach Park Swimming Area Closed

The Houghton Beach Park swimming area is closed for at least one week due to elevated bacteria levels. People and pets should not swim, drink lake water, or engage in other water activities at Houghton Beach Park. The rest of the park is open. CKC Trail Closed

The Cross Kirkland Corridor trail is closed at NE 85th Street to NE 87th Street for the construction of the shared-use pathway. It will open for the weekend of May 1-3 and reclose on May 4 for a running race on Sunday. View page below to find detours and learn more about the project.
