FAQs

Will food be provided? Will there be drinks?

Yes! Food and dessert are included as part of the evening. Light bites will occur between 5 - 6 p.m. at the Peter Kirk Community Center and dessert will be available from 6 - 6:30 p.m. in the Kirkland Performance Center lobby.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available as well.

Note: Food and wine will be available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. The space has limited capacity, so supplies may run out once the venue reaches its capacity.

Can I attend only part of the event?

Yes! We’d love for you to join us for the full evening, but you’re welcome to attend the portions that fit your schedule. Feel free to arrive late or leave early. The event is flexible.

Do I need to register? And can I register a plus one?

Yes, registration is required as seats are limited. It also helps us prepare and keep you updated.

You’re welcome to bring guests. Ideally, each person registers individually so we can prepare materials, communicate event details, and track attendance.

If you’re registering for a small group (up to 5 people), you can indicate the number in your party when you register. For larger groups, we recommend individual registrations or breaking into smaller groups.

What is the dress code?

Wear what makes you comfortable! This is a night of fun and celebration. As is typical in our region, you’ll see a mix of casual and more formal attire, so come as you are.

Where should I park?

We recommend parking in the Peter Kirk Municipal Garage, which offers 4 free hours. Transit is also a great choice with the Kirkland Transit Center nearby. Other options include Kirkland Urban (parking not validated) and limited street parking.

Is there a cost to attend?

This event is 100% free!

What if I registered but can’t attend?

If your plans change, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone else.

Is the event accessible?

Yes, both venues are accessible. If you need accommodations, please contact us in advance.
