Human Services Commission Vacancy

The City of Kirkland is seeking applicants for one adult vacancy with a term ending March 31, 2029, on the Human Services Commission. All appointments will be made by the City Council.

Applicant Qualifications

  • Individuals must be at least 18 years of age and reside within the city limits of Kirkland. 

About

The Human Services Commission (HSC) advises the City Council on matters relating to the City’s efforts to support a socially sustainable community through health and human services and programs; develops recommendations on funding priorities and policies; and reviews requests and provides recommendations for grant funding of human services.

All board and commissions hold regular public meetings and are non-salaried. The Human Services Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
