PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: In response to guidance from Public Health Seattle-King County, we encourage members of the community to implement social distancing as much as possible and in the interim use the following methods to interact at City Council meetings.

Live spoken public commentary under 'Items from the Audience' or ‘Public Hearings’ at regular meetings are available via Zoom audio/video on a computer or telephone connection. The Zoom connection links are provided on each individual meeting agenda. Comments will be subject to the Council protocols listed below. Please call (425) 587-3190 and leave a message before 5 p.m. on the day of the Council meeting with any questions; City Clerk's Office staff will endeavor to return your call before the meeting, if possible.
Public comment may also be provided via email in advance of the meeting to CityCouncil@kirklandwa.gov
Comments under 'Items for the Audience' may be accepted on issues that are not quasi-judicial or set for a public hearing; Public hearing testimony may be subject to different rules or constraints.
- Three minutes per comment, no more than three speakers per side of an issue
- Zoom audience members will be alerted to ‘raise their hand’ virtually if they wish to address the Council at the appropriate time in the meeting. Typically this is achieved by pressing *9 when indicated.

Copies of the Council agenda are provided for your convenience at City Council meetings. Copies of specific items may also be requested by contacting the City Clerk's office. There is a copy charge of .15 per standard page for items over 33 pages (higher fees may apply to oversize maps or similar linked pages).
