Wanted Felon Arrested, Linked to Multiple Crimes in Two Counties

On August 3, 2022, Kirkland Pro-Act police officers arrested Toby C. Ecker in Federal Way.  Ecker was wanted for breaking into a locker at LA Fitness in Kirkland where he stole a gym bag containing the keys to a 2016 Mercedes sedan, which he also stole.  Ecker is connected to similar crimes across King County in Redmond, Bothell and North Seattle. 

Ecker is a 6-time convicted felon, wanted on multiple felony warrants out of Pierce County for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Residential Burglary, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Robbery 2nd Degree.  At the time of his arrest, Ecker was driving a stolen 2016 BMW X5 and in possession of a stolen firearm.
