KIRKLAND, Wash. – The annual Kirkland Turkey Trot is Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Juanita Beach Park. A course map is available at kirklandturkeytrot.com. Drivers should expect traffic delays and parking restrictions in the area. Please note: vehicles parked in restricted areas will be towed prior to the event.

Roads will be impacted from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. or when the last runner finishes. Additionally, the following closures will be in place:

  • From 8 to 11:30 a.m., eastbound Juanita Drive from 93rd Avenue NE to 98th Avenue NE will be closed with a detour in place.
  • From 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the entrance to Juanita Beach Park’s main parking lot will be closed to vehicles.

Event organizers expect 1,000 athletes will participate in the race/walk which includes 10K, 5K, and Kids Dash courses. The event raises money in support of the Lake Washington High School Booster Club. The club’s mission is to pursue the support and development of student athletic teams and other interscholastic activities.

Event goers are encouraged to carpool and plan for their parking in advance. For bus transportation, see the King County Metro Trip Planner. For event information, see ExploreKirkland.com. For permit information, contact Sudie Elkayssi, Special Projects Coordinator, City of Kirkland Parks & Community Services, 425-587-3347 or selkayssi@kirklandwa.gov.
