Traffic Alert for March 17: Kirkland Shamrock Run 5K

The Kirkland Shamrock Run 5K is Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Juanita Beach Park. Drivers should expect traffic delays and parking restrictions in the area. Please note: vehicles parked in restricted areas will be towed prior to the event. Course map is available at https://srcshamrockrun.wpenginepowered.com/participant-details/#map.
Roads will be impacted from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. or when the last runner finishes. Additionally, the following closures will be in place:
- Juanita Beach Park parking lot
- Eastbound Juanita Drive between 93rd Avenue NE and 98th Avenue NE (detour in place)
Event organizers expect 1,000 athletes to participate in the race/walk which includes a 5K and Kids Dash. Event goers are encouraged to carpool and plan for their parking in advance.
