Kirkland detectives conducted a thorough investigation, which included obtaining and reviewing surveillance video from both banks and nearby businesses. On both occasions, the suspect appeared to be casing the banks, loitering in the immediate area for several minutes before entering. In each incident, the suspect passed a note to the teller and did not display or imply a weapon. Video footage from surrounding area businesses also showed the suspect leaving both scenes using ride-share services. With assistance from the King County Sheriff’s Office, neighboring businesses, and regional law enforcement partners, investigators were able to identify the suspect in the two incidents. On November 25, 2025, Kirkland detectives located and arrested the suspect without incident. Detectives also served a search warrant on the suspect’s Kirkland residence. The individual was booked into the King County Jail. “Ensuring the safety of our community is at the core of everything we do,” said Kirkland Police Chief Mike St. Jean. “Our detectives worked diligently to identify the suspect, and we’re thankful for the cooperation from local businesses, community members, and partner agencies that helped move this case forward.” For additional information about the Kirkland Police Department, visit the City’s website or follow us on social media.
