Kirkland, WA – The Kirkland Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying several individuals in connection to the theft of a dog from the Kirkland Urban area.

Just before 11 p.m. on June 7, 2026, a Shiba Inu named Parker was reportedly stolen while tethered outside the QFC grocery store at Kirkland Urban. According to the family, Parker was left secured outside the store for a brief period while a family member went inside. When the family member returned moments later, the dog was gone.

Parker is described as a tan and white Shiba Inu. He is 14 years old and has ongoing health concerns that require care and monitoring.

Kirkland Police investigators have reviewed surveillance footage and are seeking information that may help identify the individuals involved or locate Parker. Detectives are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may recognize the people captured in surveillance images or who may have seen the vehicle believed to be involved. The vehicle is described as a silver or taupe-colored Chevrolet Malibu, believed to be a 2010-era model.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kirkland Police Department at 425-577-5656.

The Kirkland Police Department appreciates the community's assistance as investigators work to reunite Parker with his family.
