UPDATE as of 9:05 a.m. 5/12: The NB Off Ramp is open.
UPDATE as of 12:55 p.m. 5/11: NE 85th St and I405 NE 85th interchange are now open with the exception of the Northbound Off Ramp which remains closed. The NB Off Ramp is expected to reopen by 5am Tuesday.
UPDATE as of 5:20 a.m. 5/11: The Northeast 85th Street interchange in Kirkland opening will be delayed until mid-morning as crews complete paving and striping. A signed detour will be in place. The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th in Kirkland will remain closed until late afternoon Monday, May 11. During this weekend’s construction work, crews encountered groundwater issues that require additional work before the ramp can reopen to traffic. Please plan additional travel time.

ATTN KIRKLAND COMMUTERS: The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th will remain closed for the Monday morning commute.
Why: during this weekend’s construction work, construction crews encountered groundwater issues that requires additional efforts.
