Kirkland Woman’s Club Hosts Grand Re-Opening

KIRKLAND, Wash. – The community is invited to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Kirkland Woman’s Club on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m. Learn about the history, mission, and volunteer service committees of this long-standing community organization.

“As a true embodiment of community and philanthropy, we are pleased to be celebrating an organization that has served our local area for 99 years,” said Deputy Mayor Jay Arnold.  “Gathering places and social clubs where people can make good friends and come together to do good deeds are a uniquely wonderful part of the civic fabric of a community.”

The Kirkland Woman’s Club is a chapter of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an international volunteer service organization in philanthropy, social and political advocacy, and leadership. The Club accepts members and offers committees in the Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach, and Public Issues. The Kirkland Woman’s Club is also available as a rental location.
