Kirkland Parks and Community Services is hosting their Outdoor Summer Movie Series for the next five weeks, July through August, with five double-feature movies. The first event is on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Juanita Beach Park (north), with a showing of “Moana” at 3 p.m. and “Captain America: The First Avenger” at 6 p.m. The movie series is sponsored by Ziply Fiber.

Bring a blanket or a low-back chair and enjoy a FREE double-feature on the City’s new giant LED movie screen. No need to wait until it’s dark outside. Event dates are:

  • July 16, 23 & 30 at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Juanita Beach (9703 Juanita Dr. NE) and
  • August 5 & 12 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Heritage Park (111 Waverly Way)

Food and snacks are available for purchase on-site. The July 16 event will include HP Smokehouse BBQ and gourmet popcorn from Poppin Til’ Dawn.

“We’re so excited about this year’s Outdoor Summer Movie Series,” said Kirkland Councilmember Amy Falcone. “We’re grateful to our event sponsor, Ziply Fiber, for their participation and generosity, helping us to create free recreational opportunities for everyone in Kirkland to enjoy. It’s great to come together as a community and participate in outdoor events again!”
