Everyone is invited to join Kirkland’s City Hall for All 2022 on September 17, 2022, starting at 10 a.m. and be part of creating a more equitable community where everyone has a sense of belonging. This virtual event features three facilitated discussions to reflect on the community we aspire to become and how to achieve that vision.

“Creating a community where everyone has a sense of belonging is a priority goal of the City,” said Kirkland Councilmember Amy Falcone. “We value the varied perspectives, insight, and wisdom from our community, and conversations like these really help the Council and staff understand what matters most to you.”

The virtual 2-hour symposium will consist of three facilitated discussions. Attendees will be invited to actively participate or just listen to the discussion. The discussion topics include how we plan, live, and work in Kirkland and will explore what it means to be a belonging city and ways businesses can expand their client base with more diverse customers.

Feedback from the discussions will help inform the City as it embarks on community engagement for the City’s Comprehensive Plan and continues implementation of its Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Five-Year Roadmap.

Although not required, those interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance to receive reminder emails about City Hall for All.  Find more information at www.kirklandwa.gov/CityHallforAll.

This event is part of Eastside Welcoming Week.
