KPD Seeks Public’s Help After City Pride Crosswalk is Vandalized

Kirkland, WA – Kirkland Police Department (KPD) is asking for the public’s help to identify the individual(s) responsible for damaging the Pride flag crosswalk that was introduced to the community earlier this month at the entrance of Marina Park at Kirkland Avenue and Lakeshore Plaza.

The incident was captured on surveillance on Tuesday night, June 20, at approximately 11:40 p.m.  The vehicle appears to be a white 2010-2022 model Toyota Sequoia with a distinctive roof rack. The vehicle was occupied by at least two individuals. KPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying these suspects for the crimes of Reckless Driving and Malicious Mischief.
