KIRKLAND, Wash. – The 17th season of the Juanita Friday Market has begun! The community is invited to the Juanita Friday Market, every Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Juanita Beach Park through September 29, rain or shine. The weekly market features fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, hand crafted confections, beverages, and other local offerings.

“The opening of farmers market season marks the unofficial transition of spring into summer in Kirkland,” said Deputy City Mayor Jay Arnold. “And we’re excited to once again host this community favorite to highlight our local artisans and crafters.”

Live entertainment is sponsored by Parkshore Juanita Bay.  The Busy Lil Bees Kids Booth is sponsored by Kirkland Kid’s Dentistry.  Crafts and games are also available, as well as face painting one Friday per month.

Individuals enrolled in the Senior or WIC program who participate in the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) run by the Washington State Department of Health can shop with vendors at the Juanita Friday Market and at the Kirkland Wednesday Market.

The Kirkland Wednesday Market is every Wednesday, starting June 7 to September 27, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Marina Park, located at 25 Lakeshore Plaza in Kirkland.

We look forward to seeing you at our farmers markets this season!
