The Kirkland City Council met on January 21, 2025, in a hybrid meeting. Here’s a brief overview of some of the items from the meeting: 

• Council received an update on the City’s 2025 State Legislative Agenda
• Council received a briefing on the King County Metro K Line project
• Council received a special presentation by the Kirkland Performance Center 
• The Mayor Proclaimed Day of Racial Healing, and Lunar New Year in Kirkland. Learn more about Day of Racial Healing in Kirkland, including resources about racial equity and immigrant resources, on the City's website.

Prior to the above business agenda, the Council held a Study Session, where they discussed the 2025-2026 City Work Plan.

How to watch: Kirkland City Council meetings are streamed live and can be watched after the fact on the City of Kirkland Facebook page and the City YouTube channel, in addition to the livestream on the City website.  Meetings are also televised on Comcast Cable Channel 21 and Ziply Cable Channel 31.
