Kirkland, Wash. – A little before 11:30 a.m. this morning, Kirkland Police responded to the Bridle Trails Wells Fargo in the 6600 block of 132nd Ave NE., for reports of a robbery at the bank. 

The suspect was described by witnesses as a Hispanic male, in his twenties, about 5 foot 7 to 5 foot 8 in height, with a thin build. He was said to be wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, black shorts and legging type pants with stripes on them. He was also wearing a tan mask over his face and carrying a black backpack. Witnesses reported that the robber was armed with a revolver style handgun which he displayed when demanding cash from the teller. After collecting the money, he fled the bank on foot. The witnesses outside the bank saw the suspect and information provided to Kirkland Detectives suggest that he got into a vehicle and fled southbound on 132nd Ave NE.  

The Kirkland Police are asking for help in locating any video surveillance between the hours of 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. which captures 132nd Ave NE from Bridle Trails shopping center to the intersection of 134th Ave NE and NE 24th St. Any information about the identity of the suspect or persons involved in this case please call the Kirkland Police at 425-577-5656.
