Upcoming events:

CPR Class

Learn how to save a life at a free, in-person CPR class for community members. The Kirkland Fire Department (KFD) is partnering with the Medic One Foundation (MOF) to provide free CPR classes beginning in February 2024.

Emergency Management - Get Involved

It will take the whole community to prepare together for emergencies. There are many ways for Kirkland residents to get involved and volunteer with emergency preparedness and help the City get ready to respond.

Houghton Beach Park Swimming Area Closed
The Houghton Beach Park swimming area is closed for at least one week due to elevated bacteria levels. People and pets should not swim, drink lake water, or engage in other water activities at Houghton Beach Park. The rest of the park is open. For more information visit King County's Lake Swimming Beach Program website.
