Houghton Beach Park Swimming Area Closed
The Houghton Beach Park swimming area is closed for at least one week due to elevated bacteria levels. People and pets should not swim, drink lake water, or engage in other water activities at Houghton Beach Park. The rest of the park is open. For more information visit King County's Lake Swimming Beach Program website.

CKC Trail Closed
The Cross Kirkland Corridor trail is expected to close from NE 85th Street to NE 87th Street as early as Friday, July 18. This is an extended closure of the trail for user safety as the NE 85th Street Shared-use Pathway project builds a pedestrian bridge for NE 85th Street. The detour map is on the project webpage (link below) and posted on-site.
