Whether you’re curious about getting involved for the first time, or you’d like to explore new ways to support your community, these sessions are a great place to start. Each month, we’ll come together to highlight current volunteer opportunities across the City, explain what roles look like in practice, and answer general questions about getting started.
Special guests sometimes pop in to share about exciting upcoming opportunities!
What to Expect
Volunteer Info Hours are designed as a casual, informative session rather than one‑on‑one appointments. We’ll begin with a short overview of the City’s active volunteer programs, followed by time for group questions and discussion. If additional one‑on‑one questions come up, we’ll do our best to accommodate them as time allows.
Join Us In Person or Online
To make participation easy, Volunteer Info Hours will be offered in a hybrid format. You’re welcome to attend in person at City Hall or join virtually via Zoom.
The sessions are held at various times and days of the week to help accommodate schedules.
Registration
Registration is optional. You are welcome to drop in. However, registering helps us plan for space and materials and ensures you receive reminders and meeting details.
