Development Services Fee Changes 2020

Effective January 1, 2020

  • All Development Services fees and Fire Department Annual Permit fees will increase by 5.36%.

  • Park and Traffic Impact fees will increase by 5.36% (see table, below).

  • School Impact fees were determined by Lake Washington School District and adopted by the Kirkland City Council on November 19, 2019 (see table below and Ordinance O-4707).

Permit applications that are submitted and deemed complete prior to January 1, 2020 will be vested to the 2019 fees*.

*Cascade Water Alliance Regional Capital Facilities Charge

Cascade Water Alliance’s Regional Capital Facilities Charge (RCFC) will be changing per Board Resolution No. 2018-15. There is no vesting of this rate. The rate due will be the rate in place at the time of payment.
