Volunteer With Us
The Green Kirkland Partnership's goal of restoring natural areas in the City of Kirkland's park system is made possible by the thousands of volunteers that are involved with our program. These volunteers donate their time restoring native plant communities in our parks, entering data in our office, recruiting more volunteers at outreach events and much more! Read below to learn about the various ways to volunteer with our program.
Volunteer with the Green Kirkland partnership one time or many times at a volunteer restoration event. There are events in parks throughout Kirkland during the week and most weekends. Volunteers at restoration events spend their time removing invasive weeds, spreading mulch and planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers. No experience is necessary to volunteer at an event and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us! View our full event calendar

Green Kirkland Stewards
Our Green Kirkland Stewards program trains volunteers who are interested in taking an ongoing leadership role in the restoration activities of a park. Our staff gives these volunteers the training and support needed to lead their own volunteer events and to conduct ongoing restoration in City parks. If you are interested in learning more about the Steward program, please read the Steward Volunteer Position Description
and contact us for more details.
