Volunteer at Everest Park

Make the Forest your valentine by joining the Green Kirkland Partnership to help with the restoration of Everest Park! Volunteers will spend the morning doing a mix of restoration activities which may include removing invasive weeds like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry, spreading mulch over cleared areas, and planting native trees, shrubs, and groundcovers. No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us!

What to Bring: 
* Closed Toed Shoes Required (ex: tennis shoes, sneakers or boots but no sandals)   
* Recommended: Clothes that can get dirty * Raingear * Warm Layers * Long Pants/Long Sleeves 
* Full water bottle & Snacks 
* Tools, training and gloves are provided

Where to Meet:
This event will meet in the south parking lot. Look for Green Kirkland event signs.

Youth Volunteering: 
Volunteers age 14-17 attending the event without a parent or guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to the event with them. Download the Green Kirkland Youth Volunteer Waiver. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Parking: 
Parking is available in the south parking lot.
