Join the Green Kirkland Partnership and EarthCorps to help with the restoration of the forest at Crestwoods Park. Volunteers will spend the afternoon participating in restoration activities that may include removing invasive plants like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry, applying mulch, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers. No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us! This event will be led by EarthCorps.

What to Bring
Close-toed shoes are required
Dress for the Weather: Warm layers & rain gear encouraged
Long-sleeves and pants that can get dirty are recommended
Filled Water bottle & snacks
Tools, gloves and training will be provided
Directions & Parking
The park address is 1818 6th St Kirkland, WA 98033. From the parking area along 6th St walk north (left if you're facing the park). We meet at the wooden kiosk that marks the northern entrance to the natural areas--look for the Green Kirkland signs. Click here for a park map and directions to the event. (PDF, 330 KB)
Parking is available in the parking lot and along the street.
Volunteers age 14-17 attending the event without a parent or guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to the event with them. Download the Green Kirkland Youth Volunteer Waiver. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
