Join the Green Kirkland Partnership and EarthCorps for Green Kirkland Day 2018!
Volunteers will help with the restoration of the forest at Everest Park and celebrate the Green Kirkland Partnership. Volunteers will spend the morning doing a mix of restoration activities which may include removing aggressive invasive species like English ivy and Himalayan blackberry, spreading mulch over cleared areas, and planting native trees, shrubs and ground covers. No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us!
Register to Volunteer on the EarthCorps website.
What to Bring Please dress for the weather (layers are encouraged and rain gear is a must this time of the year), wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a filled water bottle and snacks to munch on. Tools, training and coffee will be provided.
