PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: In response to guidance from Public Health Seattle-King County, we encourage members of the community to implement social distancing as much as possible and in the interim use the following methods to interact at tonight's City Council meeting. 

The virtual meeting will be broadcast live on KGOV channel 21 and live-streamed on the City's website. Community members may also join the Zoom meeting via telephone by calling US: 877 853 5257 (Toll free) or 888 475 4499 (Toll free) using webinar ID 915 3179 6535 or via computer here with password 691299.

Comments may be provided through voicemail or email (as shown above) or live via the Zoom link provided on the agenda. Voicemail and email comments (including audio/video clips) submitted by 3 p.m. on the day of the meeting will be provided to Council before the meeting. Comments received on these accounts after 3 p.m. will be provided to the Council the following day.  Copies of all comments will be placed in the meeting packet file. 

Council will accept live spoken commentary under 'Items from the Audience' or ‘Public Hearings’ at regular meetings via Zoom audio/video on a computer or telephone connection.  The connection links are provided on each individual meeting agenda. Comments will be subject to the Council protocols mentioned above. Please call (425) 587-3190 and leave a message before 5 p.m. on the day of the Council meeting with any questions; City Clerk's Office staff will endeavor to return your call. 

For issues that are not quasi-judicial or set for a public hearing:

  • Three minutes per comment, no more than three speakers per side of an issue
  • Zoom audience members will be alerted to ‘raise their hand’ virtually if they wish to address the Council at the appropriate time in the meeting. Typically this is achieved by pressing *9 when indicated.
